Below are a series of lectures by Shatavadhani R. Ganesh on the foundations of Indian culture. Ganesh discusses several aspects of Indic history and philosophy in six lectures: the conception of Indian values based on Vedic, Puranic, epic, folk, and Agamic literature, the scope of the 64 arts, crafts, and sciences, Indic art and literature, customs, rituals, and religious rites, and more.

Ganesh did his masters in Mechanical Engineering and Sanskrit. Later, he acquired a D. Litt in Kannada literature for his thesis on the art and science of avadhanam. A polyglot, Ganesh is conversant with 17 languages (!) and composes poetry and avadhanam in eight of them. He has published over forty books in Sanskrit, Kannada, and English covering a wide range of subjects like aesthetics, dharmashastra, and the fine arts. Ganesh is also the recipient of several awards and honorary degrees.
